Matchday 16 brought us back along the M6 to Leicester, with the weather offering a typical English welcome of rain and wind. The journey, lasting an hour and 20 minutes, was surprisingly smooth, with only a bit of congestion coming into Leicester. Prebooking car park C proved advantageous, as it was conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the stadium.
Despite the inclement weather affecting visibility for photos, Liam took the opportunity to try his hand at a couple of blow-up football goal targets. Following this, we headed to grab a program (£2.50) and a matchday scarf (£12.00). The stadium’s exterior walk, even in the rain, built anticipation, and once inside, we made our way to our seats. The view was impressive, and the pre-match atmosphere was lively.
However, I couldn’t help but notice the ageing and dated seats, a surprising observation given that the stadium was built in 2002. Seeking refuge from the cold, we decided to spend some time watching the remaining match between Manchester City and Chelsea. Once the televised game concluded, we returned to our seats. Despite only 4000 fans in attendance, the atmosphere was electric, with Arsenal supporters singing and chanting throughout. It was the best atmosphere we had experienced so far.
During halftime, Liam wanted to warm up with a hot chocolate (£3.30) and a hotdog (£6.50). The first half ended with Leicester leading 2-0, but Arsenal emerged as a different team in the second half, dominating the game and securing an impressive 6-2 victory. When booking the car park, we were told we would be held for an hour after the game, but to our surprise, the car park opened, and we encountered minimal traffic leaving Leicester. This game showcased the unpredictable nature of football, adding another layer of excitement to our ongoing journey. No issues arose in getting home, and Liam was comfortably in bed by 22:30.

Bradford City Vs Harrogate Town
Matchday 93 brought us one step closer to completing our incredible journey of visiting all 92 Football League grounds. With just one more to go, the excitement was building, but this trip to Bradford City had its fair share of unexpected moments. Given the early kick-off, we set out

Barnsley Vs Burton Albion
Matchday 92 marked the conclusion of our journey through League One, meaning we have now completed three out of the four leagues, with only two League Two grounds remaining. With a 12:30 kick-off and a pre-arranged meeting with a representative from Barnsley FC at 10:00, it meant an extremely early

Leyton Orient Vs Reading
Matchday 91 was our penultimate game in League One and one that required an early start to the day, which meant we were to board the only direct train from Stourbridge Junction to London Marylebone, departing at 08:19. This service is operated by Chiltern Railways, and past experience suggested
